Saint-Véran

Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur

The highest inhabited village in Europe, Saint Véran is in the heart of the national park of Queyras.

Inhabitants were for a long time cut off from the rest and they had to fend for themselves in all possible ways so as to create a rich mountain tradition that still lives on today. The Tourism here is respectful of these traditions and helps the visitor to enjoy them.
